The British Sub Aqua Club
Contains a wealth of information on a host of subjects such as: BSAC itself, the range of training courses that are available,
incident reports, reviews of dive destinations, how to find a local club and a popular forum on which you will probably find the answer to any question that
you might have.

Very competitive prices, an excellent range of kit and great service. With a web site that carries a wide range of equipment and a base
in Roxton, near Great Barford, where one can get ones kit profesionaly serviced, have ones cylinders filled, pick up those essential widgets or try for size
some of the more personal bits of kit such as masks and wetsuits.
Ocean Optics also Mavericks Diving
Mark and Steve have been working with some of the leading names in the world of underwater photography for many
years but are equally happy sharing their enthusiasm with those who are taking their first tentative steps
into the underwater world.
Ocean Optics has a wide range of superb equipment from leading brands and their unique location on the
Underwater Studios movie lot means that, using special underwater radiophones, they can talk you through how
to use it in the environment that you will be using it. They regularly run an Underwater Photography Stage
where one can practise ones techniques on mocked up reef a brilliant facility that has the potential to
greatly improve the quality of the images that you bring home form your sub aquatic expeditions. As
Mavericks Diving they also run courses in other areas of diving such as precision buoyancy control,
an area about which they’ve run presentations on at the annual Dive show.

One of the most popular online diving forums - and - fortunately you don't have to be from Yorkshire to join in.
Dive Magazine
The web pages of Dive magazine. Provides online access to a large back catalogue of news, reviews articles and an on-line forum.
Divernet
The web presence of Diver magazine. As well as giving online access to past articles and reviews it has its own online forum.
Dive Girl
An entertaining read and not just for women. Its pages include such useful articles as 'Diving bras' and 'How to wee at sea'.
UwP (Underwater Photography)
A free bi-monthly web based magazine that is a great resource for sub-aquatic photographers.
X-Ray Mag
Billing itself as an 'International Lifestyle Magazine For Divers' X-Ray Mag is a free magazine that may be downloaded in PDF format.
Its articles cover a wide range of subjects and certainly have an international flavour. The images that appear on its virtual pages are often very impressive.
Cyber Diver News Network
A range of news, articles and opinions. Although there is a North American bias its well worth reading.
Nigel Hewitt's 'Rant' page
Some very sensible ideas on diving very well expressed.
FINS: A Series of Independent, Comparative Tests
James Grier's in-depth experiments in to the efficiency of various designs of fins.
Diver Location Aids: HSE Report
An extremely illuminating and well written report into the effectiveness of various surface detection aids such as marker buoys, flags and flares.
The London Diving Chamber
Not only might they cure you of the 'bends' but they also run courses, hold seminars, give you a medical, provide advice
and a free consultation if you suspect that you might have suffered a bend. If nothing else, put their number on your phone.
The Marine Conservation Society (MCS)
A UK charity dedicated to the protection of the marine environment and its wildlife. Includes information about marine resources and current threats.
The Shark Trust
A UK charity dedicated to promoting the study, management and conservation of sharks, skates and rays.

Has a very useful FAQ list and an extensive list of diving related links.
